Mission Statement
Aztec Rugby, representing SDSU was founded on the premise of maintaining a standard of excellence in the game of rugby. We strive to uphold this notion by fielding a competitive program of student-athletes that have earned the distinction of being one of the premiere collegiate rugby programs in the nation.
Training
The Aztecs practice three times a week, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 5:00PM to 7:00PM on the turf fields located on the SDSU campus. The Aztecs benefit from the tutelage of some of USA Rugby's premier players and coaches. The squad's focus is to get better at every practice and to be committed to each other on the field.
The Aztecs are also fortunate enough to have the privilege of being able to use the Aztec Varsity Weight Room and under the guidance of professional weight lifting coaches, players and increase their explosive strength by participating in custom made workouts designed by the coaching staff.

The Aztecs finished undeateded in Division I league play, advancing to the National Tournament for the second year in a row.
