Practice for the 2011-2012 Fall Season. Mondays 8:00pm-10:00pm Wednesdays 6:00pm-8:00pm and Thursdays 7:00-9:00pm. First practice is Wednesday September 7th All practices will be held on the turf fields by Tony Gwynn Stadium and the Aqua Plex. Bringing cleats or running shoes and try and wear all black training gear. |

The SDSU Aztecs have spent the Fall in the gym and out on the field. Craig Hartley was welcomed in as the new SDSU coach, and has brought a new energy and motivation to the team. The Aztecs will be joining the new CPL and will need to be in top shape to compete. The Fall preseason culminated in a 5 hour training session at the Navy SEAL base in Coronado. Columbus, Ohio:
In the first ever USA Sevens Collegiate Championship Invitational of the top 16 collegiate rugby programs, the Aztecs performed live on NBC in the sevens code of rugby putting in a powerful performance that included 4 straight victories before eventually following in a closely contested match to eventual National Champion University of Utah in the semi finals. |
