The Aztecs pushed their league record to 7-0 with a strong performance against UCSB, winning 95-0. 

The Aztecs ran in 8 first half tries and 7 in the second stanza putting together a complete effort in their final home match of 2010.  The Aztecs were led by center Duncan Kelm with 2 tries and 10 conversions for  personal tally of 20.  Fullback Alex Ross ran in 4 tries and flanker Mike Shea, prop Brendan Purcell, and winger Chris Bredeson each ran in a brace.  Coach Matt Sherman was happy with the performance, ‘We were pretty clinical in our execution for much of the match and overall it was a strong performance that improved on the previous weeks game.’

In the B Side match, the Aztecs fell to a strong Santa Barbara Academy side 21-12.  The Aztecs fell behind 21-0 after a lack luster first half in which they played into the wind. The second half saw a much stronger Aztec effort that led to two tries and a final score of 21-12

On the road, the Division 3 Aztecs beat UC Riverside

The Aztecs finish off league play next Saturday on the road against Cal Poly.
